PURPOSE:To save labor in inserting fasteners and enhance the productivity by allowing a cam mechanism to move each fastener in a major and minor arc motion and thereby inserting the fastener in a mounting hole without unreasonable force. CONSTITUTION:Main gear 32 is mounted rotatably on the base shaft 31 of an insertion device 24, and No.1 arm 33 installed to this shaft rotatably. One end of No.2 arm 37 is fixed to the main gear 32, which rotates following the rotation of this arm 37. Rollers 33a, 37a at the other ends of No.2 and No.2 arms 33, 37 are put in slide contact with No.1, No.2 cams 38, 39, which are rotated driven by a servo motor. When a fastener 3 is to be inserted into a mount hole 2 formed in the material 10, a fastener arm 34 of No.1 arm 33 sinks in making a major arc motion while the fastener 3 makes minor arc motion round the arm 34 to sink toward the material 10. Thus insertion is performed. |
