<p>The multiple-effect evaporator intended for concentrating a liquid product, such as milk, comprises, in a heating body (1) fed with vapour, a vertical heating surface (2) connecting a chamber (5) for the supply of liquid product to be concentrated and a chamber (6) for extracting the vapour generated by evaporation and/or the concentrated liquid product. The supply chamber (5), heating body (1) and extraction chamber (6) are each divided by one or more partitions (7, 8) into at least two independent compartments (9, 10, 11). The compartments (9, 10, 11) of the supply chamber (5), each equipped with an intake (12, 13, 14) for the liquid product to be concentrated, are connected respectively to the compartments (20, 21, 22) of the extraction chamber (6), each equipped with an extraction means (25, 26, 27), by one of the compartments (15, 16, 17) of the heating body (1), each equipped with a vapour intake (37, 34, 35). Each compartment (20, 21, 22) of the extraction chamber (6) is connected to the vapour intake of the compartment of the heating body corresponding to another compartment of the extraction chamber. <IMAGE></p> |
