The disclosure relates to a vehicle window having a window frame (14) in which a glass or plastics window pane (15) is slidable. The window pane has inner (27) and outer (28) laminations, the outer lamination stopping short of the outer periphery of the inner lamination to leave a rebate around the window and the door frame (14) has an outer leg (18) which engages in the rebate and the outer surface of which is flush with the outer surface of the outer laminate to provide a substantially smooth uninterrupted air flow over the window/window frame.
