PURPOSE:To increase the application range of interpretation, by providing an algorithm and an input stack which estimate the translation of an optional sentence to an interpreter containing a dictionary which stores the translation of word or sentence with the 1st and 2nd languages. CONSTITUTION:The translation word is displayed 14 by an input register 22, a searching circuit 23 and a word dictionary 25 with the translation of a word and by a multiplexer MPX29 and a sentence ROM31 with the translation of a sentence respectively. In the case of an optional sentence, a word mode is designated. Then a sentence is divided at dividing points for input and held at the register 22 to be displayed 14 via a display control part 24. A searching circuit 23 is actuated for each dividing signal, and the translation words are obtained from the dictionary 25 and written to an address which is designated by a pointer 33 of an input stack 28 via an MPX26. Then the translation word is sent to the display part 14 and replaced with the data given from the register 22. When the input is through with the entrie sentence, a mechanical interpretation is performed through an estimation translation processing part 34. Then the translation is displayed 14 at the part 24. Thus it is possible to increase the range of interpretation with a small number of memories. |
