Compounds of the formula <CHEM> wherein X1 and Y1 are heteroatoms (or Y1 is a bond), R2 is hydrogen or a ring substituent, Q1 is CH2OH, OH, SH, NHR3, N(R3)2 (the R3's are independently selected from H, C1-5 alkyl and CHO) or optionally esterified or salified carboxyl, and m and n are each up to 5 (n can be zero). These compounds can be thromboxane A2 synthetase inhibitors.
