PURPOSE:To perform copying in accordance with the number of copies or the charge for copying written on a key card, by inputting the size and the number of originals to be copied from operation keys to permit or inhibit the copying operation. CONSTITUTION:A processing device 59 is provided and consists of a storage part 73 and a processing part 74, and a reading/writing means 65 and a key card detecting switch 68 are connected to the device 59. When a key card is detected by the switch 68, the first information written on the key card is inputted to the processing device 59 by the reading/writing means 65. The second information inputted by operation keys 91 of a main body 2 is given to the processing device 59. Each time one copying operation is terminated, a count signal is given from the main body 2 to the processing device 59; and the copying operation is permitted in case of the H-level signal but is inhibited in case of the L-level signal. Thus, copying is performed in accordance with the number of copies or the charge for copying written on the card. |
