<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a device, such as a variable delivery pump, by a method wherein, by constituting a device such that an electromagnetic slide valve for controlling feed and discharge of hydraulic oil is installed, it is adapted to perform reliable operations necessary to work as a valve stopping device which stops operation of a suction and exhaust valve according to movement of a cam. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is driven in a given manner, a high-pressure chamber 29 is filled with hydraulic oil within an oil pan 45 which forcibly presses down a check ball 35 by passage of it through a slide valve 57 switched to the side A and after passage of it through a feed passage 47, and a cam 3 is rotated in a condition in that the check ball 35 closes an orifice passage 23, a locker arm 21 slides centering around a shaft 19, and a suction and exhaust valve 5 is vertically moved. Thereafter, when a load reduces and a slide body 55 is brought to a condition B, a discharge passage 53 communicates the high-pressure chamber 29 with an oil pan 45, and the check ball 35 releases the orifice passage 23. With this, when an engine is driven, the cam 3 turns in a given manner to forcibly push upward the locker arm 21, the slide body 15 is raised in a condition to discharge hydraulic oil within the high-pressure chamber 29, and movement of the locker arm 21 is abosorbed to bring the suction and exhaust valve 5 to an inoperative state.</p> |
