<p>Triazole antifungal agents of the formula:-
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="18" wi="74" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry><UnorderedLists id="ula01" listStyle="none"><ListItem>and their O-esters and O-ethers, where R is a phenyl group optionally substituted by 1 to 3 substituents each independently selected from halo, CF<Sub>3</Sub>, C<Sub>1</Sub>-C<Sub>4</Sub> alkyl and C<Sub>1</Sub>-C<Sub>4</Sub> alkoxy;</ListItem><ListItem>R' is selected from (a)
<Chemistry id="chema02" num="0002"><Image id="ia02" he="12" wi="13" file="IMGA0002.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry>alkyl), (b) -SO<Sub>2</Sub>(C<Sub>1</Sub>-C<Sub>4</Sub> alkyl), (C) -S0<Sub>2</Sub>NR<Sup>2</Sup>R<Sup>2</Sup> where either R<Sup>2</Sup> and R<Sup>3</Sup> are both C<Sub>1</Sub>-C<Sub>4</Sub> afkyl, or R<Sup>2</Sup> and R<Sup>3</Sup> together with the N atom to which they are attached represent piperidino, (d) -NHSO<Sub>2</Sub>(C<Sub>1</Sub>-C<Sub>4</Sub> alkyl) and (e) -CONR<Sup>4</Sup>R<Sup>5</Sup> where either R<Sup>4</Sup> is H or C,-C<Sub>4</Sub> alkyl and R<Sup>5</Sup> is C,-C<Sub>4</Sub> alkyl, or R<Sup>4</Sup> and R<Sup>5</Sup> together with the N atom to which they are attached represent piperidino;</ListItem><ListItem>and n is 1 or 2 with the proviso that n is 2 when R' is -NHSO<Sub>2</Sub>(C<Sub>1</Sub>-C<Sub>4</Sub> alkyl);</ListItem><ListItem>and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
