<p>Individual weft threads are detached from fabrics consisting of warp and weft threads by a weaving comb arrangement which separates and advances the front partial weft thread from several such partial threads in contact with the fabric in the direction of combing, and which can be operated to move out of contact with the fabric in the opposite direction. A withdrawal member pref. comprising a hook, grasps the front partial weft thread and pulls it away from the warp thread, following which the thread is removed by a carrying-off device pref. a suction device.</p> |
