PURPOSE:To attain small size, light weight, long life and low power consumption, by recording a response message transmitted to a caller and a message from the caller with a solid-state recorder or a voice synthesis circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a call signal from the caller 316 is incoming, a bell signal detecting circuit 318 detects it and applies a detecting signal to a control circuit 312. Then, since the control circuit 312 controls plural analog switches S1-S21 to a desired state, a capstan motor CM is driven and a response message recorded on an OGM tape is transmitted to a channel via a transformer 320. Further, the message from the caller is given to a buffer amplifier 325, then recorded on an ICM tape section 314. In using the solid-state recorder in place of the OGM and ICM tape section, the small size, light weight and low power consumption are attained. |
