PURPOSE:To use independently a tape recorder section, by making a tape recorder unit detachable and attachable from/to a telephone automatic response device. CONSTITUTION:The tape recorder unit 300 is brought to the recording state with recording/reproduction changeover switches S1, S2 selected to the recording side at recording and with a switch S3 turned off when the tape recorder unit 300 is removed from a telephone automatic response device main body 400 and used independently. The unit is brought into the reproducing state with the recording/reproducing changeover switches S1, S2 selected to the reproducing PB and the switch S3 turned on at the reproduction. On the other hand, when the tape recorder unit 300 is assembled to the telephone automatic response device main body 400, the changeover switches S1, S3 are set to the recording side. Thus, a message from a caller is recorded via a contact 419, a preamplifier 302 in the tape recorder unit 300 and a recording/reproducing head 303. |
