PURPOSE:To enhance sealing performance by inserting a part of a mounting clip in the insertion hole, pinching the body panel between clip's folded part and it, and thereby eliminating the gap likely to be formed between the molding and the body panel as mounting part. CONSTITUTION:Rear panel 2 is set to the body panel 1 using a stud bolt 21, and the bottom of the body of molding, 4, is placed in level with the lower edge of the panel 1. The insertion part 17 of mounting clip 16 is inserted into an insertion hole 14 in the condition being compressed while the environment is held so that the pinching part 13 is overlapped over the lower edge of the panel 1, and the folded part 20 is slided so that the lower edges of pinching part 13 and panel 1 are pinched between the insertion part and it. In the condition that the insertion part 17 is perfectly inserted in the insertion hole 14, a detainer part 18 gets through the insertion hole 14 and is widened outward by a spring bag to be detained by clip's detent part 15. |
