PURPOSE:To improve precision in control by forming the captioned device for adjusting height of a motorcycle in such a manner as a pressure sensor, an exhaust valve and a control valve are provided between an air pump and an air chamber, and the exhaust valve is opened at a pressure above the highest limit of a target pressure and closed at a pressure of the lowest limit with the control valve opened. CONSTITUTION:A control valve 88 or 90 is opened and an air pump 82 is driven to pressurize an air chamber 66. A pressure detected by means of a pressure sensor 92 is sent to a controller 96, and when this pressure grows to a special pressure higher enough than a target air pressure, the controller 96 stops the pump 82 to open an exhaust valve 94. This reduces the pressure gradually. When the pressure detected by the sensor 92 is dropped to the lowest limit of the target pressure, the exhaust valve 94 is closed. Because of this, each air pressure in the air chamber 66, air passage and the opening/closing circuit of one-direction valve 86 is equalized to each other and stabilized at a pressure somewhat higher than the lowest limit of the pressure. Subsequently, the control valve 88 or 90 is closed. This constitution realizes improvement of precision in pressure governing. |
