PURPOSE:To improve the comfortableness of ride in an automobile and its stability, by providing the pair of oil passages of a hydraulic stabilizer for the automobile with a pair of by-passes fitted with control valves. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle is moving on a flat road, solenoid valves 26, 27 are entirely closed so that oil in a pair of hydraulic cylinders 16, 17 flows freely in by-passes 24, 25 and the cylinders do not function as hydraulic stabilizing means. When the vehicle is moving on a curved road in a mountainous region, the solenoid valves 26, 27 are closed so that the coil in the cylinders 16, 17 is kept from flowing in the bypasses 24, 25 and the cylinders function as hydraulic stabilizing means to prevent the rolling of the vehicle. The comfortableness of ride in the vehicle and its stability are thus improved. |
