PURPOSE:To standardize a system, and to reduce the capacity of a transmission line and improve its transmission speed by specifying the digital data bus, analog data bus, handshake bus, etc., of a signal interface connected to observation equipment uniformly. CONSTITUTION:The observation equipment 11-i generates digital data DD and a gate latch pulse CP in response to a request signal, and those data are latched in an input/output port 121. Then, a ready signal R1 is outputted from the SR terminal or the port 121 to a data collection system at the rising of the pulse CP. Consequently, the data collection system collects data. Then, the data collection system sends function codes X as D0 of a data bus, ''0'' as D1, ''1'' as D2, and X as D3-D7. Consequently, the CS terminal of the port 121 is held at ''0'', an output-side data bus has high impedance, and the ready signal changes from ''0'' to ''1''. Thus, the collection of 8-bit digital data is completed. |
