PURPOSE:To provide a walk distance meter which has a rotary switch with a simple construction of having two setting knobs arranged coaxially. CONSTITUTION:When setting the mode, as a setting knob is turned once, a mobile contact plate 13 linked to a projection shaft 21 with a clutch B rotates with the setting knob 1 to set the mode depending on the positional relationship between a pattern 12 and a contact spring 15 on the back of a printed board 10. As the clutch A comes off, the other mobile contact plate 14 fails to rotate. Then, when setting the pace, as the setting knob 1 is pulled up, it engages a setting knob 2 linked to the mobile contact plate 14 with the clutch A and as the setting knob 1 is turned, the setting knob 2 and the mobile contact plate 14 rotate to set the pace depending on a pattern 11 and a contact spring 16 on the surface of the printed board 10. Since the clutch B comes off the connection between the setting knob 1 and the mobile contact plate 13, the mobile contact plate 13 fails to rotate. Upon the release of a hand, the setting knob 1 returns with a spring 48. |
