PURPOSE:To maintain perfect combustion, lengthen the life thereof and obtain the heat exchanger of small size, highly efficient and low cost by a method wherein a plurality of fins are provided in the heat exchanger, a hollow radiating body is arranged along the vicinity of a wall surface at the upstream side of combustion gas in the heat exchanger and a space is provided between the radiating body and the inner wall surface of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A combustion fan in a burner 1 and a solenoid pump 11 are driven and fuel is supplied into the burner 1, then, the fuel is ignited to form a combustion flame 2 and maintain the combustion. High temperature combustion gas, generated in the heat exchanger 3, transmits a part of the heat thereof to the radiating body 6 to heat the radiating body 6 red some times, however, when the gas arrives at the external fins 5 of the heat exchanger 3 through the space 6', the temperature of the gas arrives at the temperature of 200-300 deg.C when it arrives at the external fins 5. Next, the heat of the high temperature combustion gas is exchanged at the surfaces of a plurality of inner fins 4 by baffles A7, B8 and the gas is released to the outside of the exchanger through an exhaust tube 9. When a fan 10 for convection is started in this process by a thermostat or the like provided at a part in an instrument, airflow is generated and the air is contacted with the surfaces of the heat exchanger 3 and the external fins 5 and heat exchange is effected between the air and the combustion gas in the heat exchanger 3. |
