PURPOSE:To adjust a resonance point of torsional vibration and to control vibration and noise of an engine by dividing the whole of a crankshaft into plural raw materials, and stucking the plural raw materials by welding to be united into one body. CONSTITUTION:A crankshaft 20 is divided into an upper raw material 29A and a lower raw material 29B, which are stuck together by a welding portion 30. When a welding bead is removed by grinding or the like to form a part of the outer surface of the middle spindle portion 21B, C or Cr which depends on raw material is diffused on the welding portion 30. Therefore, the modulus G of transverse elasticity of the crankshaft 20 can be controlled, otherwise the modulus G of transverse elasticity can be adjusted by the choice of a welding rod and flux, and adding a fixed element. Accordingly, a resonance point of torsional vibration of the crankshaft 20 is deviated from normal rotation area of an engine to control vibration and noise of the engine.
