PURPOSE:To provide a vibration detector with an excellent reliability in the detection of vibration and inclination with a higher contact pressure against a fine vibration by magnetically maintaining the contact between an armature and a case depending on vibration and inclination generated in a precision equipment. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux 22 is generated in a magnetic circuit made up of a cylindrical body 16, an armature 18 and a case 14 to allow the armature 18 to be maintained horizontally due to the balanced magnetic circuit and the gravity, keeping an interval D with the case 14. When a machine body 12 is vibrated or inclined, the case 14 tilts and the periphery 18a of the armature 18 contacts the inner surface 14a of the case 14 due to the gravity to break the balance of the magnetic circuit, so that it is attracted and retained onto the inner surface 14a of the case 14 by a magnetic attraction force. This can heighten the contact pressure at the contact section between the armature 18 and the case 14 to improve the detection sensitivity of a detector section 21 while providing an exact electrical signal thereby protecting precision equipment or the like from the inclination and vibration. |
