PURPOSE:To enable confirmation of residual roll paper under setting state, by lowering a paper feed roller in accordance to reduction of the diameter of roll paper while lowering a pointer provided on a rod accordingly. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of a paper feed roller 12 through a motor 25 and a belt 28, a roll paper 11 will rotate through the frictional contacting force to feed out the paper 11a. Consequently the diameter of the roll paper 11 is reduced to lower said roller 12 through the force of a compression spring 20 accordingly. Here a rod 17 is lowered together with a pointer 21 as the roller 12 is lowered. Since the lowering of roller 12, rod 17 and pointer 21 is same with the reduction of the diameter of the roll paper 11, the residual roll paper 11 can be confirmed by reading out the scale indicated by the pointer 21. |
