PURPOSE:To enable a metallic die to maintain parallelism by a method wherein an upper metallic die is connected to a nut engaged with a screw bar for elevation through the intermediary of a spring. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 16 is fixed to the periphery of a bolster plate 7 whereto an upper metallic die 11 is fixed and a nut 18 is provided on the bracket 16 through the intermediary of Belleville spring 17. The nut 18 is elevated by means of threading itself into a screw bar for elevation 5 driving the screw bar 5 to elevate an upper metallic die 11 through the Belleville spring 17, the bracket 16 and the bloster plate 7. The main purpose of this elevation is to adjust the metallic die thickness. The die fastening of the upper and lower metallic dies 11, 12 may be performed by means of a hydraulic cylinder 2 provided under the lower metallic die 12. |
