PURPOSE:To enable to control a glow plug in a stable manner, by obtaining a ''completion of explosion'' signal and a ''before completion of explosion'' signal only from a starter signal, and heating the glow plug rapidly in response to the ''before completion of explosion'' signal and controlling ''after-glow'' in response to the ''completion of explosion'' signal. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch A is turned ON, the level of the output of a ''completion of explosion'' detecting circuit F becomes ''low'' and current is supplied to a temperature maintaining relay 4 in response to a ''before completion of explosion'' signal Y. During the while when the key switch A is subsequently connected to a starter terminal ST, a ''completion of explosion'' signal is kept at its L-level whereas the ''before completion of explosion'' signal is kept at its H-level, so that current is supplied continuously to the temperature maintaining relay 4. When the engine is started and the key switch A is shifted back to its ON-terminal, the level of the ''completion of explosing'' signal becomes ''high''. Further, after starting of the engine, the relay 4 is controlled by the output of an AND-circuit 10. With such an arrangement, the glow plug can be controlled in a stable manner. |
