In this device for moving railway wagons by means of a conveying truck (1) which can be moved on the track (4) with a cable pawl (7, 9), pressure arms (5) are arranged on the longitudinal sides of the said truck, and can be pivoted up and down at each point of the conveying section of track and engage on the wheels of the railway wagon which is to be moved in each case. The pivoting up and down of the pressure arms (5) occurs by changing the cable pawl tension applied with a cable tensioning device, one end (7) of the cable pawl being attached to the conveying truck (1) and the other end (9) being attached to a carriage (10) which can be displaced to a limited degree on the conveying truck. In known devices of this kind, vibrations can occur when the railway wagon moves off and as a result uncontrolled and undesired switching movements can occur. In accordance with the invention, a damping element consisting of a hydraulic cylinder (11), a bubble accumulator (12) and an adjustable throttle (17) on the carriage ensure that brief changes in tension in the cable pawl (7, 9) do not affect the position of the pressure arms (5) and that the latter are only raised and lowered when unambiguous control instructions are issued. <IMAGE> |
