PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a screen caused by the mounting shift of an electron shield and obtain stable picture quality by providing a moving part such as a memory metal that can freely be bent through a bent section such as a thin section and a hole section on the end face of an opening section that is opposed to the tube axle of a frame. CONSTITUTION:A frame 24 that holds a shadow mask 23 permits a side wall section 241 to be fixed to the skirt section 231 of a mask 23 and a bottom section 242 to be formed into almost an L-shaped cross section so as to be opposed to a tube axle. A moving part 28 that can freely be bent through a thin section 27 as a bent section is provided at least on a part of the end face of an opening section that is opposed to the tube axle of this bottom section 242. That is, before a phosphor screen is formed, the moving section 28 is bent as shown by a broken line so that the exposure condition of the phosphor screen is identical to the dimensions of a frame opening section. After the phosphor screen is formed, the moving part is returned to the direction of an arrowhead 29 and is sent in a desired position as an electron shield. |
