PURPOSE:To provide the titled system carrying out space control at the start time of a new line efficiently in a wasteful time reduced state, constituted from such a mechanism that space operation is initiated at the start time of a new line without waiting the completion of a new line to perform space control so as to be capable of starting printing. CONSTITUTION:Space control is performed in such a manner that, when printing is finished at a time t2, the operation of a new line is started and space motor is decelerated and stopped to start space operation at a time t3' without waiting the completion of a new line. This space operation is started in expectation of the completion in new line operation at a time t4' when printing is started. When operation of the new line is finished, printing operation can be rapidly started. |
