PURPOSE:To enable to perform a feed with precision equivalent to or higher than that of a screw feed, by inserting and rotatably setting by shafts, those pinions mutually engaging with integrally formed rack levers so that the pinions engage with their respective racks. CONSTITUTION:Pinions 8, 8' and 9, 9' which individually engage with their respective upper and lower racks 1 and 2 and therebetween, are positioned such that the driving pinion 8 obliquely engages with the driven pinion 9, while the driven pinion 8' also obliquely engages with the driven pinion 9', the driving pinion 8 and driven pinion 8' individually engage with the lower rack, and the driven pinions 9 and 9' also individually engage with the upper rack 1. Thus, when the driving pinion 8 rotates, the driven pinion 9 engaging with this driving pinion, and the upper and lower rackes 1 and 2, rotate and move, and the other driven pinions 8' and 9' rotate and move in the same manner. The pinions 8, 8', 9, and 9' are prevented from generation of backlash therebetween, the pinions perform smooth rotating operation, resulting in enabling the movement of a rod A or a body B with precision equivalent to or higher than that of a screw feed. By reducing the number of components in the manner described above, the mechanism can be simplified. |
