PURPOSE:To perform a simple, accurate paper detection, by reading out marks on a specified sheet page of a copying paper pad for vouchers or the like composed of a plural sheet page bind as one set, while detecting trouble in the paper feed on the basis of an AND condition lying between the reading output and the specified output. CONSTITUTION:In the case where an M sheet page is set down to a specific sheet of paper with copying paper consisting of one set N sheet, in this device, there is provided with a sheet number control switch circuit 11 generating an output in time of detecting a detection hole made up in the paper of the M sheet page. During paper feed operation, each pulse is generated out of each of pulse generators 8-10 by the output of a paper sensor 7 and then the sheet number control switch circuit 11 is controlled by output pulses out of these pulse generators 8 and 9. And, at an error signal generating circuit 12, an AND condition lying between both output conditions of the said circuit 11 and the rest pulse generator 10 is secured and with which, in time of having the AND condition realized, it is so judged as normal feed operation while if the AND condition fails to come into existence, it is so judged as an error, that is, double feed occurs there, thereby outputting an error signal 13 at once. |
