PURPOSE:To make constitution strong to vibration, simple and inexpensive by branching and coupling optical waveguide to plural light scattering regions, and introducing light to light scattering region by a photoswitch. CONSTITUTION:Many light scattering regions 2 in a matrix, a main optical waveguide 3, the 1st optical waveguides 4 branched from the waveguide 3, optical waveguides 5 connecting the 1st branch optical waveguides and the regions 2, photoswitches 6 in an X direction disposed at the branch points of the waveguides 4 and photoswitches 7 in a Y direction disposed at the branch points of the waveguides 5 are provided on a substrate 1. LiNbO3, LiTaO3, or the like is used for the substrate 1. Metallic powder of, for example, Al, molybdenum, etc., powder of ceramics such as alumina, powder of glass, etc., or mixed powders thereof are used for the light scattering material 2a and, for example, polymers (polystyrene, polymethyl methacrylate, polycyclohexyl methacrylate, etc.) and gelatin are used as the transparent material 2b. |
