The present invention concerns a telephone layout of digital type, where a loop L is shared by a plurality of communication arrangements, and a digital telephone set 10 for connection to such a telephone layout. The loop L can be arranged for a layout with parallel telephone sets or for a layout of the type which has a common line. Each telephone set is configured to send data to the loop in an upstream direction, i.e., toward a substation which is part of the layout, and said data can come from the telephone set itself or from a telephone set further downstream. Each telephone set includes, figure 3, a code detector circuit arrangement CD and a logic circuit arrangement G, by which if the telephone set is the first to change to a condition with microtelephone off hook, i.e., the active condition, this telephone set "seizes" the loop for an exclusive data transmission to the substation. In the case of a layout with parallel telephone sets, any telephone set whose microtelephone is lifted off hook can receive incoming data from the substation, but only the first telephone which has had its microtelephone lifted off hook can send data. In the case of a layout of the type which has a common line, only the telephone set which seizes the loop can receive data. <IMAGE> |
