This invention is a device for a floating offshore platform (1) comprising a lower body (2) and upper deck construction (10), which are joined together by means of a number of connecting legs (11) that hold said body (2) and deck construction (10) at a relative distance from each other.This device makes it possible to produce a device of the aforementioned type which provides great safety against accidents and makes it possible to create workspace in the device interior.
