Lighter composed of a plain case which contains the mechanism of this lighter, and of a pivoting top 24 with an ornament 38 mounted on the upper part of the top. The ornament 38 can be welded, force-fitted and adhesively bonded, or force-fitted and fastened by rivets and by screws, or by threaded rods and nuts. It can be held in place by means of a permanent magnet so as to be removable, alternatively fastened to a removable sleeve. The assembly can be associated with a stand so as to be placed on a table or desk. <IMAGE>
