The invention relates to a circuit for the control of a hydraulic motor 1 by means of a directional control valve 4 controlled remotely 7. In this circuit, the motor admission pipe 10 is connected to the control pipe 18 of the directional control valve 4 by a link pipe 22, arranged on which is a nonreturn valve 23 allowing possible passage of fluid from the control pipe to the admission pipe. One application is to the construction of the circuit for the translational movement of a self-propelled hydraulic shovel. <IMAGE>
