The table (1), in the work position, is fixed relatively to the machine (7) and a movable input table (2) has its gables forming the front parts of a pair of levers (18) pivotably suspended on the fixed table around a first horizontal rotary axis (10). The levers are counterbalanced by a pair of hydraulic cylinders (20). A second horizontal rotary axis (35) is provided in the feed-in table front end, around which the blade unit (3) is suspended pivotably. - A sensor emits impulses if the blade unit is turned upwards through a specific angle around the second rotary axis. Controls of receipt of the sensor impulses activate the hydraulic cylinders so that the levers are turned around the first rotary axis. The feed-in table is thus raised allowing the blade unit to move freely away from an obstruction. |
