The invention relates to a radiowave receiving antenna intended to be mounted on a motor vehicle. This antenna includes two substantially straight cords 5a, 5b arranged in a V; each cord forms, with the ground plane P constituted by the roof 1 of the passenger compartment of the vehicle, an angle beta lying between 60 and 90 DEG ; the two cords 5a, 5b form between themselves an angle lying between 30 and 40 DEG . The antenna according to the invention improves radio reception in a motor vehicle by comparison with the reception obtained with a single-cord antenna. <IMAGE>
