A servomotor 13 comprising a carriage 14 which is displaced in a rectilinear movement along a rail 15 is used, by means of a cam mechanism 19, for controlling a closing assembly of the type in which, during movement between the closed and open positions, a closing element pivots about spindle-and-roller devices fastened to the lateral edges of the closing element 11, at the same time as the rollers are displaced along guide rails parallel to the sides of an aperture in which the closing assembly is installed. The cam mechanism 19 comprises a curved rail 20 fastened to the closing element, a slide movable along the rail 20 and connection means 28, 31 which connect the slide to the carriage 14. In a particular example, the servomotor 13 and the cam mechanism 19 are used for operating a single-panel door 11 of an up-and-over door assembly 10. <IMAGE> |
