PURPOSE:To obtain a health food effective for the prevention of constipation, the control of blood pressure, and the prevention of obesity, by adding water and salt to crushed broad bean, removing the precipitate, adding seasonings to the filtrate, and forming to granules. CONSTITUTION:Dried broad beans are washed thoroughly with fresh water, immersed in water, crushed with a crusher, and added with a proper amount of water and a small amount of salt. The precipitated starch is removed, and the remainder is added with a seasoning and heated to obtain an edible food. The food is dried, pulverized, and formed to granular form having desired size. The obtained food has remarkable effect for the prevention of constipation, the control of blood pressure, and the prevention of obesity by the large amount of vitamin A, roughage, and other active components contained in the broad beans. |
