PURPOSE:To obtain a well shaped product, by correcting a roll bending curve in conformity with the different quantity in a case that the lengths of side crown parts which are in contact with a plate to be rolled are different. CONSTITUTION:The lengths lL, lR of side crown parts which are in contact with a plate to be rolled are respectively made to be prescribed dimentions by shifting upper and lower work rolls 1, 2 in accordance with the plate width W. On the other hand, the forces of roll bending pistons 9, 10, in a case that the rolls 1, 2 are equally positioned in the axial direction are calculated by an arithmetic device 11 basing on the previously set plate width W and rolling force P. Further, the lengths lL, lR of side crown parts which are in contact with the plates S are calculated basing on the plate width W and the shifting quantities RL, RR of the rolls 1, 2, and a correcting load is also calculated basing on said calculated results, by arithmetic devices 12, 13. The signals of the forces of pistons 9, 10 obtained by the device 11 and the signals of correcting loads obtained by the devices 12, 13 are respectively transmitted to adding devices 14, 15 to be calculated, and the results are transmitted to pressure controlling valves 16, 17. Accordingly, the pressure of a pressurized oil to be supplied to the piston 9, 10 are different at the left and right sides, and then a bending curve is corrected. |
