The invention relates to a joint for the rapid connection of a flexible transmission shaft 2 to the body of a measuring apparatus 3 actuated by the said transmission. The joint comprises a bush 4 having an end portion 6 which is fixed, in use, to the transmission 2, and another end portion intended to receive the sleeve of the apparatus body 3. Elastically deformable means 24 are interposed between the sheath 4 and the sleeve. Application especially to the connection of a flexible transmission shaft to a vehicle tachometer. <IMAGE>
