This motorised cultivating tool comprises a primary motor M which is mounted in a housing 6, 7 and the output shaft 11 of which drives by means of a pinion 13 a gearwheel 14 mounted on a shaft 23. The shaft 23 supports eccentric rollers 15, 25 which each drive a cam follower 16, 26 mounted on a spindle 19 which is integral with a tooth 18, 28 and which thus receives an alternating pendular movement on either side of the vertical plane containing the axis of the motor M, the shaft 23 and the spindles 19. The rollers 15, 25 can be phase-shifted by 180 DEG or, on the contrary, in phase with one another. In the latter case, the teeth 18, 28 can be combined as a single U-shaped tooth. <IMAGE>
