A metering and titrating tip for introducing liquid reagents into a reaction medium consists of an inlet tube which at the bottom turns into a capillary tube dipping into the reaction solution and, to avoid back-diffusion of reaction medium from the outlet tip to a position lying above the level of the reaction solution, is reduced to a channel.
