PURPOSE:To aim at a decrease in compressor driving power, by installing a special cooling tower in a gas compressor, while effectively utilizing the adiabatic compression heat that is merely diffused around so wastefully. CONSTITUTION:Part of adiabatic compression heat of gas discharged out of a compressor 2 is recovered as hot water by means of a hot water recovery mechanism 5 installed at the outlet side of the second compressor 2, and the recovered hot water is fed to a class-1 heat pump to secure cooling water, and also fed to a water cooler 3 whereby gas-subject-to compression 10 to be inhaled in the compressor 1 is cooled. On the other hand, the gas-subject-to compression 10 processed at the first compressor 1 receives compression of the second compressor 2 after being cooled at an intermediate cooler 4, and cooled up to the specified temperature by the hot water recoverer 5, thus the adiabatic compression heat that is merely diffused around so wastefully is effectively utilized. |
