PURPOSE:To facilitate molding and adherence of the titled weatherstrip, by a method wherein a curing agent is filled from outside into an auxiliary hollow part of the weatherstrip held in a mold having given curvature and shape for curing, in the weatherstrip having a main and an auxiliary hollow parts for attachment to a circumference of a door. CONSTITUTION:Weatherstrips 19 and 10 are fitted in fitting in grooves 25 and 26 of an upper and a lower molds 23 and 24. Curvatures and shapes of the fitting in grooves 25 and 26 of the upper and the lower molds 23 and 24 are made to coincide with those of fitting parts of the weatherstrips 19 and 10. Then, a liquidized curing agent 17 is filled by an injector from the outside of the molds 23 and 24 in auxiliary hollow parts 22 of a plurality of hollow parts divided within the weatherstrips 19 and 10 for curing. The weatherstrips 19 and 10 are taken out by separating them from the molds after the curing. With this constitution, the weatherstrip having the given curvature is obtainable accurately and easily. |
