PURPOSE:To obtain low-cost woody materials suitable for post foam drawing processing by a method in which a plate material is doubled on the flat portion of the surface side to be bonded with a decorated sheet of a part and then the side of the plate material is subjected to a curving process. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a decorated ceiling plate (e.g., woody base material for toilet dressing base) having a hollow portion, a plate material (e.g.,fiber boards formed by using phenolic resin adhesive as a binder) is doubled on the sides of the flat portion 2 of a ply wood with aid of a rubbery adhesive, etc., and then the inside of the plate material is cut to form sides 3 with a drawn portion consisting of given curve faces in order to obtain a wooden base material. Numeral 5 is the surface of the flat part 2). A desired decorated sheet is placed on said woody base material, which are subjected to a drawing process for joining them to manufacture a decorated ceiling plate. |
