The device comprises a conveyor (11), a bending member (22) and a pair of bending rollers (36, 36'). The parts to be bent (18) are displaced from the right hand side, along the conveying path (15), to the bending member, a bending roller (30) being in one of its rest positions under the conveying path (15). As soon as the location where the part (18) is to be bent is situated between the bending ridges (25, 26), the bending cylinder (30) is displaced to the second rest position: to this aim, it rolls on both bending ridges (25, 26) and bends the part (18) upwardly about the ridge (25). To complete the bending, the part (18) with its bend (41) is forwarded to the pair of rollers (36, 36'). |
