PURPOSE:To obtain an urethane foam molded article having dimensions as specified, by supplying air into a hollow insert to foam and set urethane, and then releasing the air from the inside of the hollow insert. CONSTITUTION:When clamping is completed, a timer 15 operates to put a solenoid valve 10 into the state as shown in the figure, and thereby air is supplied from an air supplying device 12 into a hollow insert 1 through the solenoid valve 10, a connector 9, a path 7 and a pin 8. An air regulator 11 is adjusted to have a prescribed pressure at this time, and thereby the pressure inside the hollow insert 1 is maintained to be fixed. After the completion of clamping, an urethane stock solution is injected into a mold and foamed and set, and thus the hollow insert 1 is covered almost on the whole periphery with foamed urethane. The timer 15 is operated again at this time to release the pressurized air inside the hollow insert 1, whereby the pressure inside the hollow insert 1 is made to be the same with the atmospheric pressure. Then, after the passage of a prescribed time, the product is removed from the mold. |
