PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetron which can prevent drop and missing of duct without provision of any deformation of duct by providing a part, which is more protruded than the external diameter of radiator fin in the radius direction from the center of tube, at a part of the yoke and by engaging such protruded portion with the one or more holes provided on the wall surface of duct. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal width of lower plate 42 of the yoke is formed rather wide and the width of the area, where a duct 7 is wound in contact with the external circumference of the radiator fin 5 and fightened and fixed by a band, is formed rather narrow by providing a notch to the lower plate 42. Therefore, the sectional view of the duct 7 remains circular and is not deformed into ellipse even when strongly tightened with the band. Since four protrusions of lower plate 42 of yoke are engaged with the holes 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d on the wall surface of duct 7, if the band is loosened while the magnetron is operated repeatedly, the duct is supported by the engagement at the protruded area and does not drop therefrom. |
