PURPOSE:To enable the thermal efficiency of a heater to be satisfactory by making the wall thickness of a pump cylinder in a boiler section thinner than that of a cooling section so that the boiler section is thermally insulated from the cooling section. CONSTITUTION:The wall thickness of a pump cylinder 1 in a boiler section is thinner than that of a cooling section. The wall thickness of the pump cylinder 1 in the boiler section 8 is determined in view of the external pressure, the material of the pump cylinder 1, the true circularity thereof, etc. since the inside of the pump cylinder 1 is under vacuum, and if the wall thickness of the pump cylinder 1 in the boiler section 8 is made to be about 0.5mm., the pump cylinder 1 is not deformed by the external pressure. Accordingly, the boiler section 8 may be thermally insulated from the cooling section so that the quantity of heat transmitted through the pump cylinder 1 is reduced, thereby the thermal efficiency of the heater is made satisfactory. |
