PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce consumption of energy, by controlling the intake flow from an intake port with the use of the pressure differential between the discharge pressure and the intake pressure so that an amount of unnecessary discharge flow is restrained. CONSTITUTION:When a drive shaft 1 rotates at a high speed since the rotational speed of an engine increases, the discharge amount of compressed coolant gas increases, and the pressure differential between the discharge pressure and the intake pressure also makes large in proportion to the increase of the rotational speed. Accordingly, a variable bellows 12 gradually elongates, overcoming a spring 15, to reduce the open area of an intake port 5, and automatic control is carried out to reduce the intake amount of coolant gas so that the discharge amount also decreases in proportion to the intake amount, thereby the energy of work given during the compression stroke of the compressor, is also reduced. |
