PURPOSE:To obtain an optional function relation between a position of a float and a flow rate, and to make linearity of a flow meter more complete, by working an inside cylinder adhering closely to the inside wall of an outside cylinder so that its sectional area is varied in the vertical direction, installing it into the outside cylinder and using it as a pipe part of a detecting part of an area type flow meter. CONSTITUTION:A pipe part of a detecting part of an area type flow meter is formed by fitting a pipe part inside layer 2 of the detecting part worked by inscribing it to a pipe part outside layer 1 of the detecting part. Subsequently, a float 3 is inserted, an inside layer protecting ring 4 used as a float 3 stopper, and packing 5 are inserted, and the inside layer is fixed to the outside layer by a clamping screw 6. Packing 7 and a connecting union 8 are used for connection to a pipe. Hatching is performed to a face exposed to the inside of the outside layer and the inside layer, and a section of a flow path formed by the float 3, and it is utilized that some area is varied by a position (h) of the float 3. |
