PURPOSE:To obtain a counter circuit having a function of unit convertion by providing an AND circuit for executing the gate to an input pulse by an output of a state detecting circuit, a multi-digit counter for counting its output pulse, and a displaying circuit for displaying the contents, and unit-converting and displaying the number of input pulses. CONSTITUTION:In case of a state that the number of detected pulses is 27, the following input pulse is inhibited by an AND gate circuit 12, and it becomes passable in other case. That is to say, it is signified that the number of pulses which consist of 13-15 and are inputted to a main counter is 100 among 127 pieces of the number of input pulses of a counter 17. Also, 50 pieces of pulses are inputted to a counter of 14, and 5 pieces are inputted to a counter of 15. Therefore, with respect to an input pulse of 17, in case when one pulse corresponds to one millimeter, a counter output of 13, a counter output of 14 and a counter output of 15 correspond to 5/100 inch, 1/10 inch and one inch, respectively. In this regard, a decoding circuit 10 is constituted so as to generate an output when a counter 9 is in a specified internal state, by combining a diode matrix circuit, or an AND circuit and an OR circuit. |
